 Jilba Dressage is a dressage training barn located in Catharpin, Virginia. Retired International and National dressage judge and USDF Bonze, Silver and Gold medalist. Libby has trained many clients to the FEI levels and in 2005 and 2008 was awarded dressage"Trainer of the Year " for VADA
Libby is joined for 2008 by daughter Jules who will bring Teamwork dressage in Atlanta, GA to VA to join with Jilba dressage. Read more about Jules in "Dressage at Jilba" on this web site and on her web page www.teamworkdressage.com Jules is also a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal winner and is currently showing at Grand Prix with several horses. This combination makes a "Dream Team" for promoting, teaching and training dressage in Virginia.
Libby and Jules Anderson offer full training for horse and/or horse-rider combinations, as well as trailer-in lessons at all levels from Intro through Grand Prix.
At Jilba, you'll find a warm, caring atmosphere nurturing to both horses and riders. High standards, international level instruction, and a special combination of kindness, courage, and dedication all combine to bring out the best in riders and horses alike.
Arena
In 2008 Jilba has an Olympic size rubber arena with 4' wooden sides, the arena has an insulated 18" roof. This makes summer riding fun and cool. The arena never freezes, is treated to minimize dust and is soft and springy for horses in training. The arena has state of the art lighting, lightning rods for portection and12 national flags flying in the breeze from various dreesage countries including the USA and Australia! .
